For the past week, South Florida has been experiencing storms. On Saturday, 6th January, a tornado hit an American city called Fort Lauderdale.
The tornado was part of the storm system forming over South Florida. The tornado hit a while after National Weather Service in Miami issued a Tornado Warning for the area. The funnel cloud formed at 6 pm and slowly descended upon the city.
The tornado raged through the city before dissipating into the ocean. Many recorded the spectacle. No people were found injured. Another storm has been predicted to be making its way to the city.
