Instead of sharing their favourite colour, the students have to make statements. From these statements, Mr. Gupta has to figure out each student’s favourite colour.

Rose: I don’t like white or yellow.
Ben: Neither pink nor red appeal to me.
Lily: Pink and purple are not among my favourite colours.
Pansy: Neither red nor yellow.
David: I hate red.
Rose: Pink is not liked by both me and David. Neither of us likes pink.
Ben: Either I like purple, or David does.
David: I like yellow!
