Ashwini Ponnappa and N Sikki Reddy fell 13-21, 15-21 to the Thai combination of Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Rawinda Prajongjai in the women’s doubles, while Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty were defeated 20-22, 21-18, 15-21 by Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi of Malaysia.
