How will a new Prime minister be selected?

Candidates will give their names for PM. The restriction is that the candidate must be nominated by 2 MPs from the Conservative Party. It is necessary for him or her to be backed by 8 members.

After that there will be numerous rounds of voting by MPs and the person with least votes will be eliminated . The process will be repeated till only two candidates are left.

Then a postal ballot will be conducted by the Conservative Party members. The winner of this ballot will be the new UK Prime Minister.
