Tour de France is a long distance cycling race that is conducted in Europe every summer.
This year, it will be held from 1st to 24th of July, starting from Copenhagen, Denmark, and culminating at Paris on 24th July.
The first stage was within Copenhagen, only 13.2 kilometers long.
It was won, in a surprise victory, by Belgian farmer Yves Lampaert.
Stage 2
Stage 2 was much longer – 202.5 kms.
Fabio Jakobsen or the Netherlands won this stage.
This is the first time that Fabio has participated in the Tour de France.
Stage 3
Stage 3 is underway today – July 3rd.
