The three wise men Melchior, Caspar, and Balthazar are widely celebrated in Spain on Epiphany (a festival that celebrates the arrival of wise men who came to see Jesus Christ soon after he was born). On that day children get presents from their parents on behalf of the three wise men. This year they could not carry out a procession, so the three wise men flew over the tomb of Seville in a hot air balloon. They waved to children who watched them from their homes.
