Most of you know by now that the application form for The Children’s Post Young Journalists Program was not easy. It was really long, and had 5 different sections:
- General Knowledge
- Fact-Inference-Judgement based critical reasoning
- Writing an original analysis piece
- Writing a real news piece
- Submitting a photograph taken by the applicant.
As you can imagine, going through the responses was not easy either. 😊 It took us a LOT of time to read each response carefully and patiently.
It is customary for the judges to say, at the end of the contest, that all the entries were very good and we had a tough time deciding, but believe me, the entries were SO GOOD that we really had to work till 3 am on one occasion!
Well, done, everyone. We are truly amazed at your talent and your ability to think, infer, and present your views. Each one of you did very well.
