On January 1, 2022, The Children’s Post became a website only publication.

How have we done so far?

Here is a short report card:

We were read in 154 countries this year.

Earlier, India used to form 85-88% of our overall traffic. In 2022, it was only 77%. The US has always been our second-largest reader group. That continues. But countries like Russia, Australia, Canada, and China, show 100% or more growth.

On January 1, 2022, we were in the top 10 search results for 4-5 keywords. Today, organically, we are in the top two search results for over 110 keywords.

42% growth in number of users.

100% growth in pages per session.

On each visit, the reader now spends 52% more time on our website.

The Bounce Rate (people who exit the website after reaching it) has dropped to one-third of the previous year, at a very enviable 24%!!

(The average bounce rate for news and media websites is 67%)

Organic Search sent 3x users to our website this year. Our readers came through Baidu, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, Yandex, in addition to Google.
