On July 1, 2017, the first edition of The Children’s Post of India rolled off a home printer – for exactly one child.
From there, the journey has taken a life of its own.
The Children’s Post of India, a print-at-home DAILY newsletter for children was created entirely by moms.
The entire editorial team – 21 at its peak, was made up of parents, or people who worked with children on an ongoing basis.
The one thing that has remained unchanged from that day to this is – Children come first. Always and Forever.
In December 2021, when we stopped the paper, we were reaching 20,00,000 children in over 14,000 schools in every part of the country.
Whenver we would get an email from a new place, we would add it to our “list”. Here is that list as of December 2021:

Our Empower Journalists kept the website going – and still do.
Over 10,000 people have added The Children’s Post to their browser favourites.
In any given week, readers from about 35-40 countries read the news on our website.
Our stories appear on Google News.
We get traffic from Baidu, Yandex, Bing, and now, even DuckDuckgo!
Our work has been covered by at least 25 news publications in about 4 languages.
As we complete six years, it is with an immense sense of gratitude – to our incubators – Atal Incubation Center – Shiv Nadar University, AIC Banasthali Vidyapeeth.
To the Founders Groups that kept the morale high even when the going was tough. Very tough.
To the entire editorial team.
To all the Empower Journalists.
And the readers.
It is to the Empower Journalists that I would like to dedicate this year of The Children’s Post.
Thank you, Children!
I wish you start the newsletter again. Missing it
