Surajkund Mela, held every February, is the country’s largest crafts fair. It typically lasts for a fortnight (2 weeks or 15 days).
The mela also has artisans and craft work from other countries.
The mela is held at Surajkund – a historical site that has been developed to include an open space for the fair.
This year’s fair was inaugurated by the Vice President, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar. The Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri M L Khattar, was also present. The fair will end on 19th February, and the Book Fair begins on 25th February.
The High Commissioner of Seychelles in India also attended the mela.
We bring you some images from the fair.
Images tweeted by various government accounts, some visitors, and some foreign participants.
This year, the theme states are Northeast states.
