Bulgaria May 8: Indian wrestler Seema Bisla, qualified for the Tokyo games by winning the finals of the 50 kg freestyle wrestling competition. She was declared the winner of the finals after her opponent Ecuador’s, Lucia Yamileth Yepez Guzman resigned from the finals, due to an injury.
She qualified for the finals after defeating Anna Lukasiak of Poland, with a close win of 2-1 in the semifinal of the world Olympic qualifiers.
Vinesh Phogat (53 kg), Anshu Malik (57 kg), and Sonam Malik (62 kg) are the other three women who have also qualified for free style wrestling at the Tokyo Olympics.
