Bristol, June 20: A 4-day test match between the women of India and the women of England just ended with Saturday being the final day. The match started out with things looking so good for the England team that they let the other team follow on as India’s first innings total was substandard with Shafali Verma’s 96 being among the few highlights. The second innings saw Shafali shine again with 63, though for quite some time it looked like it would not be enough. Then Sneh Rana and Taniya Bhatia through an inspired partnership batted through to even the odds ending the match in a draw.
