Athens, June 15: FINA (Fédération Internationale de Natation) Women’s Water Polo World League Super Final is being played from the 14th to 19th of June. Teams representing eight nations are participating in this event. The teams are divided into two groups:
Group A: Canada, Japan, Hungary, Russia. Group B: United States, Spain, Kazakhstan, Greece. Spain beat Kazakhstan 20-11 in the first match of the tournament on the 14th. In the next match, Hungary beat Japan with a score of 26-10. Canada beat Russia 12-10 in a very closely fought match 3. In the last match of the day, US beat Greece with a 16-9 score-line.
