Sports News: Tennis: French Open Men’s Final

Paris, June 14: Serbia’s Novak Djokovic became the third person in history (after Rod Laver and Roy Emerson) to win each off our Grand Slams titles twice on Sunday, June 13th, 2021. He defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece) in the French Open, a tennis tournament held between 24th May and 13th June 2021. This was Novak’s 19th Grand Slam title and 2nd French Open championship. Stefanos Tsitsipas, runner up in the French Open Men singles gave a tough fight to Djokovic. He won the first two sets but lost the last three sets by 7-6 6-2 3-6 2-6 4-6. He became the first Greek to reach Grand Slam final at the French Open. French Open takes place at the Stade Roland-Garros stadium in Paris.
