Sports News: Tennis: French Open 2021

Paris, June 10: In the women’s singles semi-final first match today at the Phillippe Chatrier Court, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova of Russia won the match by 2-0 playing against Slovenia’s Tamara Zidanšek. She won both the matches, the first one by 6-3 and the second by 7-5. With this victory, she moves to the finals in her maiden Grand Slam.

In the mixed doubles final, Britain’s Joe Salisbury and American Desirae Krawczyk won the match against Russian pair Elena Vesnina and Aslan Karatsev by 2-1 (2-6, 6-4, and 10-5).
