Sports News: Swiss Open 2022 Results

India’s PV Sindhu lifted the gold in the Women’s Singles at the Yonex Swiss Open 2022, held at Basel (Switzerland) from 22nd to 27th March, 2022.

In the Men’s singles, Christie Jonatan won the gold, while the silver went to India’s HS Prannoy.

In the Women’s Doubles, India’s Ashwini Ponappa and N Sikki Reddy made it as far as the Quarterfinals, but no further. The Gold was claimed by Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva (Bulgaria).

The Men’s Double title went to Md. Rian Ardianto and Fajar Alfian (Indonesia). India presented no major challenge in this category.

In the Mixed Doubles, all Indian players exited in the first round of the tournament. The gold in this category was won by Mark Lamsfuss and Isabel Lohau (Germany).
