Matthias Mayer of Austria has won the second largest downhill course, Bormio Downhill, in the Alpine Ski World Cup 2020. Mayer is also the winner of the Sochi 2014 Downhill gold and the PyeongChang 2018 Super G Champion. Mayer was just 0.04 seconds ahead of his teammate Vincent Kriechmayr (+0.04s), who finished second. Swiss racer It’s Kryenbuehl was just two hundredths of a second further.
The World Cup race was won by American Ryan Cochran- Siegle.
