Germany beat hosts India 4-2 in the semifinals of the Men’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup on 3rd December 2021.
The tournament is being played at the Kalinga Stadium from 24th November to 7th December 2021.
The players from Germany gained the lead with a goal by Eric Kleinlein.
Germany earned another three goals through players Philip Holzmueller, Hannes Muller and Christopher Kutter. By half time Germany was leading 4-1.
In the second half of the game India fought back well, but were able to score only one goal by Bobby Singh Dhami.
India earlier defeated Belgium 1-0, while Germany defeated Spain in the quarter finals. Now, France will compete against Germany in the tournament finals.
