Mogyorod, Aug 2: The Hungarian Grand Prix was action packed as two separate events at turn 1 during the opening lap saw at least 5 cars eliminated from the race and several more damaged.
Lewis Hamilton started from the pole position (he secured pole (1st) position in the qualifying held on Saturday) and finished second at the end of the race.
A surprise maiden win by Alpine’s Esteban Ocon brought more drama to the race. Championship leader Red Bull’s Max
Verstappen shifted to 2nd position with 186 points after the race.
Mercedes’s Lewis Hamilton now leads with 192 points.
