In the Women’s Singles category of the Badminton World Tour Finals happening in Bali, Indian player P.V Sindhu lost the final group stage match with World No. 10 player Pornpawee Chochuwong of Thailand 12-21, 21-19, 14-21.
In spite of this loss, Sindhu has qualified for the semis as she won her earlier group matches. She will play against Akane Yamaguchi of Japan in the semi-finals today.
In the Men’s Singles category, Lakshya Sen will take on reigning Olympic Champion and World No. 1 Viktor Axelsen of Denmark in the semi-finals.
