Melbourne, Feb 19: In the second semifinal of the Australian Open Men’s Singles tennis tournament, Daniil Medvedev of Russia defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece in three straight sets of 6-4, 6-2, and 7-5.
Daniil Medvedev will be playing against the defending champion Novak Djokovic in the final on 20th February. In the Women’s Doubles final, Elise Mertens and Aryna Sabalenka won the title by defeating Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova with 6-2 and 6-3.
The Women’s Singles final match between Jennifer Brady and Naomi Osaka is scheduled for 20th February.
