Space is Much Denser Outside the Solar System

Voyager 2, a space probe launched in 1977, had made its way out of our solar system in 2018. It is recording some weird data in interstellar space and sending it back to scientists on Earth. The probe is an unmanned exploratory spacecraft designed to transmit information about its environment. As it passed the boundary of our solar system, Voyager 2 picked up an increase in the particle density in its surroundings. Scientists assumed that the density will decrease in space as it is just a void/vacuum there, but the readings sent by Voyager 2 are not in line with this assumption.
