New York, Sep 21: President Biden delivered his debut (first time) address to the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly. In his speech, he addressed changes and challenges brought about by climatic change globally. He offered financial aid to developing countries to combat the crisis. Covid-19, US withdrawal from Afghanistan, emerging technologies, trade and economics, investments in clean infrastructure and counterterrorism are areas towards which the President directed the world’s attention.
“Simply put, we stand, in my view, at an inflection point in history” Mr. Biden said. “And I’m here today to share with you how the United States intends to work with partners and allies to answer these questions, and the commitment of my new administration to help lead the world toward a more peaceful, prosperous future for all people.”
