Only Indian officer to serve in all the three Armed Forces turns 100

Retired Colonel Prithipal Singh Gill, the only Indian officer to serve in all three Armed Forces – Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, and Indian Army became a centenarian on 11th Dec, 2020. He had served during World War – II and the 1965 India – Pakistan War. He started his career as a pilot in the Royal Indian Air Force, joined Indian Navy after that, and later served as a Gunner Officer with the Indian Army.

He retired from his post as an Assam Rifle Sector Commander in Manipur.
