June 13, 2023, Miami (US): The Denver Nuggets won the NBA (National Basketball Association) Title after defeating Miami Heat 94-89 in the final. This was held at Kaseya Center, Miami, United States.
The American Basketball Association (ABA) merged into the National Basketball Association in 1976. Since the merger, this is the first time that Denver Nuggets have won the Title.

The Denver Nuggets are an American professional basketball team based in Denver. The Nuggets are a part of the Western Conference Northwest Division. In this division, teams from Northwestern US play against each other. It was founded as the Denver Larks in 1967 to play for the American Basketball Association (ABA). (The ABA was a professional basketball league from 1967 to 1976).
The Denver Larks changed their name to Rockets before the first season (1967).
Then, they changed the name to Denver Nuggets in 1974.
