National Sports and Adventure Awards, 2022

How are the awards given

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports invited applications from 27th August to 20th September 2022.

For the first time, all applications were taken only online. Sports persons could nominate themselves.

The awardees were selected by a Selection Committee headed by Justice A. M. Khanwilkar, Retd. Judge, Supreme Court of India and consisted of members from eminent sportspersons, persons having experience in sports journalism, and sports administrators.
