Florida, Nov 9: Four astronauts returned safely to Earth from a record six-month NASA science mission aboard the International Space Station. The Crew Dragon capsule landed in the Gulf of Mexico. This was the longest ever time in orbit for an entire US-launched crew. They spent 199 days in space. The four astronauts were launched in orbit atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket that lifted off from the Kennedy Space Center on on April 23. During their stay in space, Kimbrough, McArthur, Pesquet, and Hoshide oversaw numerous science experiments and even tested the first chili peppers grown in space. They also conducted spacewalks.
