NASA discovers “The Accident” by Accident

The Accident is unique as it is neither a star nor a planet

Washington D.C., Sep 6: NASA (National Aeronautics Space Administration) has found a unique object named ‘The accident’ (officially named WISEA) in the Milky Way. It has been named so because it was photographed in the
background when they were imaging something else. This celestial body is described a failed star as it is neither a star nor a planet. Failed stars are also called brown dwarfs.
They are a complex mix of particles which were in the process of becoming a star but had insufficient mass for a
nuclear fusion to take place. Therefore, they can’t give-off light like other stars. The astonishing bit is that ‘The
accident’ doesn’t resemble any of the previously identified 2000 brown dwarfs in the Milky Way in size, age, or surface temperature! It is almost 80 times the size of Jupiter and is very hot. Scientists estimate that it will take millions of years to cool down. The Accident is 10-13 billion years old, double the age of other brown dwarfs. NASA will continue research on this peculiar object to learn more about the Milky Way.
