Nand Mulchandani becomes the first Chief Technology Officer(CTO) of CIA (Central Intelligence Agency)

Nand Mulchandani has been appointed as the first Chief Technology Officer of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of USA.

CIA said that Mr Mulchandani has had more than 25 years of experience working in the Silicon Valley and the Department of Defence(DoD) bringing Government expertise and startup to the agency.

He also served as the acting director and CTO of the department of defense.

He holds a degree in Computer Science and Math from Cornell, a Master of Science degree in Management from Stanford, and a Master in Public Administration degree from Harvard.

Mr Mulchandani has been tutored at some of the world’s most prestigious institutes.

South Delhi’s Bluebells School International was the school where Mr Mulchandani studied before moving abroad for higher studies. 

He recently posted on LinkedIn stating that the job was one he could not refuse. He also stated that he was very excited to continue his journey in public service with the CIA and that he couldn’t be a luckier person. He said that he had prepared for the interview watching movies on Hollywood like Central Intelligence. He also said that he was surprised as to how accurate the movies about the CIA were.
