Tel Aviv, June 14: Benjamin Netanyahu’s 12-year long run as the prime minister of Israel ended on Sunday, June
12th, when the Knesset (the parliament or the House of Representatives of the State of Israel) approved the new coalition government led by Naftali Bennett.
The new coalition party won with a one-vote margin, 60 to 59 in the 120-seat Knesset. The 13th PM of Israel, Naftali Bennett took the oath of office on the same day. The new government has 27 ministers and is a coalition of political parties from the Left ( ), the Right (conservative; opposes drastic political reforms) and the Centre.
