What You Need:
Mud pot
Paints
Decorative mirrors
Glue
Method:
Take an earthen pot and wash it well. Let it dry.
Colour the outer portion of the pot with any solid colour of your choice.
Paint a red stripe around the neck of the pot.
Stick round mirrors on the central portion of the pot.
Paint a design of your choice on the neck of the pot.
Stick triangular decorative mirrors around the base of the pot.(optional)
Paint the top of the pot blue.
Draw white coloured dots above the green circle.
Add smaller details to the pot if you wish.
Your garba pot is ready! You can use this pot to plant the grains that are offered to the goddess during Navratri.
