The Khelo India games were held from the 3rd to 13th of June.
Students below age 17 and college students below 21 can participate in these games. This year, it was held in Haryana. 4,700 students participated. Out of the 25 sports that were played, some are mentioned below:
Athletics, archery, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Football, Hockey, shooting, judo, gymnastics, swimming, volleyball, wrestling, weightlifting.
Here are the final results:
Haryana topped the medals tally with 137 medals.
Maharashtra followed with 125 medals.
3rd is Karnataka, with 22 medals.
Next, Manipur with 28 medals yet leading over Kerala due to it having 19 golds.
Next, Kerala with 18 golds and 55 medals in total.
After Kerala, Delhi, with 79 medals.
Next, Tamil Nadu with 52 medals in 7th place.
At the 8th place is Madhya Pradesh with 12 golds and 38 in total.
9th is Punjab with 42 medals and 11 golds.
At the 10th place is Rajasthan with 32.
