Kaavan – World’s Lonliest Elephant Relocated to Cambodia
Kaavan was a lonely elephant at the Pakistan Zoo for eight years. It was relocated to Cambodia under a social campaign and was flown in a custom designed crate to a sanctuary in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It spent most of its time eating and sleeping and was not stressed at all during the journey. Kaavan made contact with another elephant for the first time in eight years.
The below image shows Kaavan’s contact with another elephant after 8 years.
