The Indian duo consisting of Rohan Bopanna and Ramkumar Ramananthan bagged the men’s doubles title at Adelaide International ATP 250 tennis tournament on Sunday.
Bopanna and Ramananthan defeated Croatia’s Ivan Dodig and Brazil’s Marcelo Melo 7-6, 6-1 at the Centre Court in the final on Sunday, January 9, 2022.
Earlier in the semi-finals, the pair defeated the Bosnian Mexican duo consisting of Tomislav Brkic and Santiago Gonzalez 6-2 6-4. This title marks Ramkumar Ramananthan’s maiden ATP title while it is Rohan Bopanna’s 20th.
