Indian Student wins prestigious Artemis Next-Gen STEM Challenge

The competition was organised by NASA

Aryan Jain, an Indian High School student, won an application development challenge, Artemis Next-Gen STEM – Moon to Mars, organized by NASA. The challenge required them to develop an application that could aid Mission Artemis in planning and exploration activities of the Lunar South Pole.

Aryan Jain was assigned a group with six high school students from the US to take part in the coding challenge. His team was ‘Team Unity’. Team Unity has been invited to virtually meet with top NASA scientists and Space industry leaders in February.
Team Unity application used C# (coding language) to develop a cross platform (a game that can be played on multiple operating systems like Linux, MacOS, Microsoft Windows etc.) game engine. NASA’s Mission Artemis 2024 aims to land the first woman and the next man on Moon by 2024.
