Himachal Pradesh, which went to polls on 12th November for Assembly elections, has registered a voter turnout of 74.05% overall.
The highest turnout was in Sirmour district – 79.07%, while the lowest was in Kinnaur – 70.5%.

Tashigang, Lahaul Spiti
Tashigang is the world’s highest polling booth. The temperature was sub-zero on November 12th, the date of polling. The booth has 52 registered voters. All 52 of them voted, making this a booth with 100% voter turnout.
Not only did the polling officers and voters come in full force, they also came dressed in full local finery.
