NASA released an image of the snow-covered Himalayas which was captured from the ISS (International Space Station). The lights from urban areas are also visible in the image. The Himalayas are the world’s highest mountain range located between India and Tibet.
Make in India got a big boost today when Shri Rajnath Singh, the defense minister, approved proposals to procure equipment worth Rs. 27,000 crores from the local industry. One of the proposals is an indigenous project to develop six airborne warning and control system (AWACS) aircrafts.
