European Skies and Snow turned Orange – Is it Mars?

Dust and sand from Sahara causes phenomenon

Geneva, Feb 7: An uncommon weather phenomenon caused a strong southern airflow which created a high concentration of Sahara dust and sand in the atmosphere.
They were dragged further through the Mediterranean Sea to parts of Europe by stronger winds. So, this dust and sand from the Sahara turned the sky orange. While blowing over the Alps, it covered the snow with blankets of sand. People watched this strange weather change and captured it in their cameras.
