Dinosaur Fossil Found: Dinosaurs Travelled Across Oceans

Dinosaur Fossil Found and is a Type of Lambeosaurine Hadrosaur.

Boston, Nov 6: Africa was once an island continent as it was completely surrounded by deep seas in the Cretaceous period, but an international team of palaeontologists has identified fossils of duckbill dinosaurs in rock mines of Morocco. Due to this, discovery experts believe that duckbill dinosaurs reached Africa by travelling hundreds of kilometres across oceans.
The new Dinosaur fossil that has been found has been identified as 66 million years old, from the Maastrichtian age to the end of the Cretaceous period, and is a type of lambeosaurine hadrosaur. The dinosaur that is discovered was a plant-eater, and its scientific name is Ajnabia Odysseus. These dinosaurs evolved in North America and later spread to Asia and Europe; this is the first time they are found in Africa.
