Who doesn’t like to see a couple of hilarious photographs from time to time!
Perhaps, a hen winking or a bunny waving to you?
Every year, the Comedy Wildlife Awards honour the funny and the unexpected in wildlife photography.
What is Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards?
In 2015, an Organisation called Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards was born in an office, in Usa River (a city), Mount Mery, Northern Tanzania.
Mr Paul Joynson-Hicks founded it while working as a wildlife photographer in East Africa along with Mr. Tom Sullam.
What is the main purpose of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards and how it works?
This organisation holds a competition every year where thousands of people from all parts of the world send in photographs. The main purpose of this competition is to make people laugh and at the same time raise awareness about endangered animals.
This time there are 40 finalists.
This award is a People’s Choice Award, which means that you can vote for the picture you find funniest.
Over 7,000 entries were received and out of those 40 were shortlisted as finalists.
The charity being supported this time is the Whitley Fund for Nature, an organisation that funds several conservation projects.
A few pictures are given below. The rest of the pictures can be accessed (and voted for) from their website – www.comedywildlifephoto.com. Vote Now!
