CBSE Board Examination for Class 10 has been cancelled
New Delhi, Apr 14: In a meeting that happened today with Prime Minister and Education Minister as chairpersons, the examinations for the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) of class 12 to be scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 14, 2021 has been postponed. The new dates for exams will be set after reviewing the situation on June 1, 2021.
The Board Exams for Class 10 scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 14, 2021 are hereby cancelled. The results of Class 10 Board will be prepared on the basis of an objective criterion to be developed by the Board.
Since CBSE is an all India board covering schools throughout the country, it had to review the present situation of the pandemic and take into account the safety and well-being of the students. The decision was taken by the government to ensure that the students’ health is taken care of and at the same time their academic interests are also not harmed.
