Kerala CM to take oath on May 20th
Delhi, May 10: From 27th March to 29th April, Assembly elections were held in Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal.
The winners were:
- Assam: BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party)
- Kerala: CPM (Communist Party of India, Marxists) led LDF (LeftDemocratic Front)
- Puducherry: NDA (National Democratic Alliance)
- Tamil Nadu: DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam)
- West Bengal: TMC (All India Trinamool Congress)Of these, Chief Ministers have taken oath in four states. These are:
- Bengal: Ms. Mamata Banerjee (Third consecutive term) Tamil Nadu: Shri M. K. Stalin (First term)
- Assam: Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma (First term)
- Puducherry: Shri N Rangasamy (Third term, not consecutive)
