New Delhi, Jan 25: 2021 Police List: The Government of India announced a total of 946 Gallantry and Service Medals to the police personnel on the eve of Republic Day. CRPF bagged 68 medals and the J&K Police got over 50 medals. The break-up is as under –

Jeevan Raksha Padak Series of Awards 2020: President of India also approved the conferment of Jeevan Raksha Padak Series of awards-2020 to 40 personnel. It includes Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak to 1, Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padak to 8, and Jeevan Raksha Padak to 31 people. These are the highest civilian life saving awards.
Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puruskar 2021: The Government of India awarded Rashtriya Bal Puruskar to the children with exceptional abilities and outstanding accomplishments in the fields of Academics, Sports, Art & Culture, Social Service, Innovation, and Bravery. It was bestowed to 32 children this year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually interacted with these children via video conferencing.
