Welcome to The Children’s Post of India.
We are a news portal exclusively for children.
Children can:
A. Read news items that make sense to them – nature, history, space, and other topics that we know are interesting for the young hearts and minds.
B. Send their own contributions – Art, creative writing. (email to tcpedit@gmail.com)
C. Understand the meaning of hard words and concepts through simple explanatory articles that are written specially for them.
D. Do puzzles, riddles, read book reviews, stories, and other interesting stuff that only a children’s portal can have.
E. Do all this in a safe, no-ads environment.
Our History
The Children’s Post of India used to be a daily newsletter created for children – by mothers.
The paper was optimised for home printing, so a parent anywhere in the world could just take a printout on their home printer and give it to the child to read.
The paper was distributed exclusively through Readwhere.com. Our archives are available here.
A newspaper habit is one of the best things that we picked up. But newspapers today are just not suitable for children. While there were a lot of options available for monthly, weekly and fortnightly, a habit needs daily practice. This is how The Children’s Post was born. We needed a daily paper for the child at home. We made it.
If you have been a reader, we hope you enjoyed sharing the newsletter with your child as much as we loved creating it. All the editions are visible here.
If you are looking for a specific article or edition of the print at home version, please contact us, or write to us at tcpedit@gmail.com.
