A website to take a short quiz every day

What does one do if one wants to start quizzing, but is scared of the number or variety of questions that have to be answered for quizzing?

Or, if a person is just an avid quizzer who misses the high of quizzing?

In both these cases, the solution is deceptively simple – suppose there was a solution that gave us only five questions a day? For the novice, it would be an easy initiation into quizzing, and for the avid quizzer, just enough daily fun in a busy life.

We have found just such a website for you.

5 Questions Daily (5qdaily.in) is a website created by Sanat Pai Raikar.

Sanat is a quizzer and quizmaster who has led his college team on BBC World’s University Challenge hosted by Siddhartha Basu. He is the author of the definitive article ‘Quiz’ in the Encyclopaedia Britannica. His crosswords have been published by Encyclopaedia Britannica, Gulf News, and Business Goa. He is also the author of Three’s a Quiz – a very unique book that contains some of the most memorable quiz questions.

How does this work?

  • 5 questions every weekday
  • Published at 5PM, IST
  • From Mon-Thu, the 5th question will be a theme question. Link the 5th questions across Mon-Thu to come up with the theme for the week.
  • Answers for daily questions will be published the next day
  • Answers to question 5’s + the theme will be published on Friday every week.

Can anyone use the website? Is there a subscription?

The website is completely free to use and is for everyone.
