The 2023 G20 Summit kicked off with a major update – the African Union was accepted into the G 20 as a permanent member.

What’s on the agenda?
This summit marks the culmination of one year of various conferences, delegations, etc. held throughout the year. At the end of the Summit, a joint declaration is expected – to be signed by all the member countries.
Another important aspect of the G20 is the opportunity for world leaders to meet each other 1:1.
These meetings are held on the sidelines of the main event.
